It's all about 'ME ME ME Cosmetics'

I have tried so many make-up brands and I have completely gone mad for Me Me Me Cosmetics. I have so many bits in my kit which I use on my clients and a huge selection for myself. I can't help it....I love make-up! The whole range is great value for money for the quality and packaging you are given. I'm such a sucker for great packaging and the price is a bonus. Everything has a modern edge with a vintage classy feel which I find very appealing and the variety of shades throughout the cosmetics makes choosing very hard.

My first purchase was the shimmy shimmers. I love anything that's pigmented, shimmery and multi-functional. I use it as a highlighter, blusher, bronzer, eyeshadow and mix it with vaseline for a lovely shimmery balm.
It has since then changed and be renamed and repackaged into the new slice black look, which I prefer...
Shimmer Stack

It has five colours/tones which range from a soft golden ivory colour to a sultry dark bronze. They can be used individually or together. It is perfect because it is not over shimmery.

I recently looked at the website and the naughty people at MeMeMe have made it very hard to resist other products.Because of this I also had to treat myself to some bits.

The Eye Inspire Goddess Eyes Quad

In my job I can sometimes use up to 10 eyeshadows at a time. I love things like palettes and quads because it means simplicity and variety all at the same time. The colours are rich with beautiful golds, bronzes and browns which can give you different looks from daytime to evening. They are lovely and metallic to give a uber glam finish. They are so easy to apply, don't crumble or fall on application. Lovely to blend and last all day. Perfect for any make-up bag. The quad range also comes in other colours so have a little look and find the perfect one for you.

I also bought the Blush Me! Blush Box in Pink

I generally like a bronzed look to my skin but at the moment I love adding a pink hue to the apple of my cheeks. Since buying this I have had so many compliments from people. I thought it would be slightly visible but people can really notice it and when I tell them it's from MeMeMe, they tell me they've never heard of it. Where the hell do they live, space! I also have a celeb client who's whole make-up bag is MeMeMe, courtesy of me of course.
This blusher is definitely a 'must'. it has a soft pink tone and compliments every skin tone from english rose to golden olive skin. It is physically impossible to go OTT with this product as it's very buildable and easy to use.

The website www.mememecosmetics.co.uk is so easy to use and is full of information including tips, instructions, techniques on application and different looks that can be achieved with their fab products. I cant wait  to try the Skin Illuminator, the new Flawless Finish Tinted Moisturizer and the new Goddess Rocks!

How funky is that packing!!!!!

I recommend you guys to look at the website and I hope you has much fun as I did. If you buy anything I promise you that you will not only have fun but be thoroughly happy with the products

Happy Glam Time! with MeMeMe Cosmetics

Christmas is over!...BUT THE GLAMOUR IS NOT!!!

Ok I have to admit I had too much fun over Christmas experimenting with different looks, textures and products to feel very festive. This is a fab time of year to be as adventurous with make-up. Admittedly I went glitter mad.... and why not. I bet you all had fun too....
I tried different hairstyles, had a lot of fun with different colour eyeshadows and the red lippy popped up a lot, haha!

I had some amazing pics which gave me inspiration for the Christmas period.
So I thought I would share them with you...

As you can see there is a theme of reds, greens, golds and GLITTER. Why not it was Christmas after all.

I hope you had as much fun as I did this year over Christmas and new years. I would love to see some pics of your creativity.

And don't forget : Make-up is not just for Christmas......it's for a glamorous life!!!!

Have a fab 2012 everyone!!!

The Jewel in your Eye!

If you're anything like me and like to experiment with new things. The new autumn/winter trend is definitely going to grab your attention. It's 'The Jewel Tone' collection. Rich, velvety tones full of body and colour. From magazine and catwalk to red carpets and TV. These jewel inspired colours are everywhere. Starting with gowns, coats and beautiful outfits and finishing off with shoes, gloves, scarfs, jewellery and not forgetting makeup.

As you can see they can be adapted in any way and look absolutely stunning. Incorporating these gorgeous tones with luxurious fabrics means everything can be mixed and matched from top toe toe to make one hell of a statement.

Jewel tone makeup has always been around but sometimes can be put aside or forgotten about at the risk of looking too glam or over done. I think by adding key pieces and making it 'your style' you can get the best makeup looks.

Some Jewel Tones

How sexy are these colours.

These eyes really do twinkle!

Take some inspiration from these looks and gleam like the precious stone you've always wanted to be!

As you can see so many different looks can be achieved. Just take a chance and see if you like any. Use single tones or mix them together to compliment an occasion or outfit. I picked these looks because I think they are completely wearable and create a great impact. So don;t be afraid to copy some of these sultry looks.
Party  season is coming soon and it is the perfect opportunity to show people the sparkle in your eyes with the jewel tones.

If you feel the makeup is too strong for you. There are many jewel tone nail polishes with amazing finishes. I have a huge collection myself and love the richness of the colours.

Go on treat yourself!!

Vamp It Up!

Everywhere I look I see all these amazing images of what I call "Vamp Glamour". Edgy, sexy dark looks which are a huge craze. Now you might be thinking "Gothic Rock" but don't. It's popular with nails, lips, eyes and making its way over to hair with women picking rich dark sultry colours to add the extra edge to their locks.

Vamp Magazines

Vamp Celebs

Chanel started a craze many moons ago with Rouge Noir (one of my all time favourite colours) and many other brands caught onto it knowing it was a winner.

The catwalks, magazines and red carpets are full of women who dare to vamp it up and show their dark side. Whether its lips, eyes, nails or all three it makes a bold statement and will continue to rock the world of Glamour for many years to come.

An all time classic is nails. Weather its red, black, purple, blue or green. The dark shades are very popular and if your nails are slightly shorter it makes more of an impact. Vamp nails can glam up any look and take your look from daytime to evening, soft to edgy and can set of any outfit. Make sure when applying a dark nail polish to apply 2 coats. If your going to do vamp, do it properly.

Two nail ranges in particular that have a great range of Vamp colours are O.P.I and Jessica. With a lovely glossy finish and a wide range of colours they are bound to fly off the shelves.

As a makeup artist it took me a long time to perfect dark makeup. You have to practise to get all your lines precise or it can look very messy and untidy. Don't worry it is very achievable and will look amazing when done correctly. I would recommend that you wear the Vamp Look only in the evening or special occasion as it can look too dramatic for a daytime look. If you feel uncomfortable mix it up a little. Wear dark eyes with neutral lips or dark lips with neutral eyes until you find the balance that you comfortable with. Dark eyes can be messy, you don't want to look like you have been bunched in the face but don't be scared.

Keep it smokey, keep it bold, keep it sultry!!!!!!!

As you can see the look can be done many ways and looks stunning. And for those of you wondering you don't have to be dark haired or dark complection to pull it off. Some blondes strut their vampy side with confidence and style.

Get practising, have fun and don't forget everyone has a dark side!!!
