Gemma Collins Looking Uber Glam at the National Television Awards

I had so much fun last night with Gemma getting ready for the NTAs. I like to call her 'Little Liss Last Minute'. I think it's because we spend so much time talking and gossiping.that by the time we start the makeup we're running late. I think it's my fault to be honest with you.

I have worked with Gemma quite a bit recently on TOWIE and she has me in stitches, we're are so alike and she is so welcoming that you can't help loving her.

When she asked me to do the National Television Awards I was more then happy to say yes. She was nominated for an award with the other cast members of TOWIE which is such a great achievement in itself so I knew she had to look absolutely amazing.(this wasn't hard to achieve). She rocked that red carpet!!!

Gemma had a huge selection of dresses to wear to the ceremony and chose to wear a gorgeous Anoushka G Vintage nude and black floor length dress with gorgeous lace and beaded detail. When Gemma showed me the dress I knew she would be a knock out in it.

As Gemma had such a gorgeous dress with one shoulder and gorgeous detail we decided to have the hair to one side in soft curls. I curled all her hair but loosly and pinned it softly to one side and gave her plently of lift on top for a soft yet glam red carpet look. Gemma knows what she likes which is fab. She knows what suits her and like to experiment which is fun. I love listening to her ideas because I know what she likes, and it just works.

With the make up we went for an LA Vintage Glam Nude Look. Gemma has amazing skin, so the makeup base was easy. She has great bone structure and piercing blue eyes. I decided to do bold eyes using a mixture of bronzes, browns and black to make her baby blues pop. Making her eyes do the talking and nude glossy lips. A perfect match for her dress. A soft dusting of bronzer with a pinky hue on her cheeks which compliments her perfectly.

We had so much fun last night as we usually do. Im just happy that we both have a huge love for makeup.

It's all about 'ME ME ME Cosmetics'

I have tried so many make-up brands and I have completely gone mad for Me Me Me Cosmetics. I have so many bits in my kit which I use on my clients and a huge selection for myself. I can't help it....I love make-up! The whole range is great value for money for the quality and packaging you are given. I'm such a sucker for great packaging and the price is a bonus. Everything has a modern edge with a vintage classy feel which I find very appealing and the variety of shades throughout the cosmetics makes choosing very hard.

My first purchase was the shimmy shimmers. I love anything that's pigmented, shimmery and multi-functional. I use it as a highlighter, blusher, bronzer, eyeshadow and mix it with vaseline for a lovely shimmery balm.
It has since then changed and be renamed and repackaged into the new slice black look, which I prefer...
Shimmer Stack

It has five colours/tones which range from a soft golden ivory colour to a sultry dark bronze. They can be used individually or together. It is perfect because it is not over shimmery.

I recently looked at the website and the naughty people at MeMeMe have made it very hard to resist other products.Because of this I also had to treat myself to some bits.

The Eye Inspire Goddess Eyes Quad

In my job I can sometimes use up to 10 eyeshadows at a time. I love things like palettes and quads because it means simplicity and variety all at the same time. The colours are rich with beautiful golds, bronzes and browns which can give you different looks from daytime to evening. They are lovely and metallic to give a uber glam finish. They are so easy to apply, don't crumble or fall on application. Lovely to blend and last all day. Perfect for any make-up bag. The quad range also comes in other colours so have a little look and find the perfect one for you.

I also bought the Blush Me! Blush Box in Pink

I generally like a bronzed look to my skin but at the moment I love adding a pink hue to the apple of my cheeks. Since buying this I have had so many compliments from people. I thought it would be slightly visible but people can really notice it and when I tell them it's from MeMeMe, they tell me they've never heard of it. Where the hell do they live, space! I also have a celeb client who's whole make-up bag is MeMeMe, courtesy of me of course.
This blusher is definitely a 'must'. it has a soft pink tone and compliments every skin tone from english rose to golden olive skin. It is physically impossible to go OTT with this product as it's very buildable and easy to use.

The website www.mememecosmetics.co.uk is so easy to use and is full of information including tips, instructions, techniques on application and different looks that can be achieved with their fab products. I cant wait  to try the Skin Illuminator, the new Flawless Finish Tinted Moisturizer and the new Goddess Rocks!

How funky is that packing!!!!!

I recommend you guys to look at the website and I hope you has much fun as I did. If you buy anything I promise you that you will not only have fun but be thoroughly happy with the products

Happy Glam Time! with MeMeMe Cosmetics

Glam New Products for Jan 2012

New year, New products.

I love seeing new products come out and I thought it would be good for you all to see all the lovely products out to treat yourself....

Barry M - Croc Nail Effect £3.99
Croc Nail Effects is a stunning development following the best selling crackle range. These cracks appear in a more uniform mock-croc style pattern.
Apply a base colour, after a few minutes when the nail paint is still a bit tacky apply a coat of Croc Nail Effects. Watch the amazing effect appear in a few minutes. The effect takes a bit longer to appear than the crackle but it is worth it! Can't wait to try it...and they they bring out a leopard one I'll buy in bulk.

Benefit - Watt's Up! highlighter £24.50
Turn on 'watt' ya got! Our delicate champagne sheer highlighter smoothes on a gorgeous glow. Glide on cheek & brow bones...then sculpt with its soft glow blender for the perfect gleam. With a cream-to-powder finish... it's a switch-on "wow" for all complexions. I love dewy skin so this will be one to add to my kit and my make-up bag.

M.A.C - False Lashes Extreme Black £18.00
Midnight meets its match with a Mascara that creates vixen volume by filling in sparse lashes, magnifying & by multiplying magnificently. Builds captivating curl & divine density with a velvety-fabulous finish. I have tried many mascaras. It is so hard to find a mascara that does everything that it says it does. I trust MAC so bring it on!!!

O.P.I - NICKI MINAJ - Stylish and Sassy Shades £10.50

Left to right: Pink Friday, Did it on 'Em, Fly, Metallic 4 Life, Save Me, Super Base Shatter

Found in professional salons and homes all over the world, OPI offer award-winning nail care products that no woman should be without. OPI nail polish is the choice of Hollywood's A-listers and even if you've never walked the red carpet, OPI will make you look as if you have. With a new fantastic range in some amazing colours sure to fly off the shelves. can't wait to try Pink Friday, pastels are coming for spring/summer!

Lancome - L'absolu Rouge Lipstick £19.50
An advanced replenishing and reshaping lip colour that contains Pro-Xylane and SPF 12 sunscreen.
Pamper your lips with this creamy and luscious formula. It contains Pro-Xylane, a complete and powerful replenishing molecule that creates visibly fuller and smoother lips. The SPF 12 sunscreen protects against environmental damage and UV rays and the satiny, saturated colour wraps lips in luxury so they are left absolutely replenished, feel softer and moister for hours.

Soap and Glory - Kick Ass Concealer £10.00
This concealer is a three - piece flaw camouflaging kit that includes an amazing under eye brightening concealer, an 'on the spot' as-you-need-it complexion concealer, and a weightless transparent setting powder. A must have for people with dark circles, heavy eyes and in need of getting back that sparkle.

Nars - Paramaribo Eye Duo Metallic Bronze Shades (price unknown)
This eyeshadow duo is from the spring 2012 collection which isn't released online until  January 13th. The duo contains my two favourite words which are metallic and bronze. I can't wait for it to come out and I'm definitely pre-ordering and will let you know what I think.

Chanel - Blush Horizon De Chanel (roughly £37.50) may vary when it arrives in the UK
This is a new and limited blush for springtime. It’s described as an “elegant highlighting face powder”
The new Glowing Blush Harmony is a stunning palette of soft luminous pinks, white, plum, peachy-pink and gold. I believe this will be a universally flattering pink. It has a good mixture of cool and warm tones with the alternating stripes. There are several variations of pink to suit everyone's taste. This powder I took a soft blush brush and swirled the colours together before applying. On the face this is a very soft glowing pink, not overly frosty, but a hint of shimmer is visible on the face. Each stripe appears to have a different degree of shimmer which I find lovely. On a medium-toned olive skin like mine it gives a soft medium pink glow.

My Glam Review!!! - Instant Tan

I have being doing spray tans for over 8 years and have worked with many brands such as Fake Bake, St,Tropez, Su-Do and many more so I thought it would be great to do a review on some instant tanning products. Fake tan is so great and so annoying at the same time. Great results, great for contouring and sculpting and perfect for special occasions or nights out but can give patchy results after, funny odours and messy bed sheets...hehe!

Instant fake tans are amazing, I use them alot on shoots and for filming. They give a great result instantly and can be washed off at the end of the night.
I always have a variety on instant tans as they can give different results. Tan is something that is liked by men and women all over the world. It's used in professional dance, catwalk and many more professions. Not forgetting the girls of all ages who want a great tan 365 days of the year. So it is a very big market.

I am going to review 2 instant fake tans for you and give you my honest professional opinion.

Sexsymbol - Aerotan, Instant Tanning Spray - Varies in price from £14.00
I have used tons of this product. It has a lovely coconut scent, a lovely glow and gives a great finish.
Being honest it is a very messy product. I recommend spraying this product outside as it gets absolutely everywhere. It stains sheets, carpets, towels, floors, walls and furniture. It has a powerful spray jet and is easy to use.
Spray about 30cms or more away from the body for best result. This will give you a more even finish without need to rub in the product. If you spray too close you will get a blob on your skin, not a problem. Just gently blend with your fingers. Not a mitt as it will remove the tan. It has a lovely glittery (not tacky) finish and only can be removed with warm soapy water but is great if its raining outside as it won't smear. If you are wearing white be very careful as it can be slightly visible on light clothing.
This tan is amazing on legs, it gives that toned, tanned, slender look without a greasy or oily feel.

Overall : Great for a great sheen looking tan but a bit messy
3/5 - *****

Fake Bake - Faux Glo Instant Spray Wash-off - £12.50
This is my new favourite instant tan. It has a soft scent, doesn't smell like a typical tanning product. The result is more like a matt glow than a sheen and is so easy to use.
I didn't need to go outside to spray this one as it doesn't leave a mist or stain everything around you. You will need a mitt to use this product as the tan needs to be blended in but amazingly you will get your desired results in under 5 minutes and you don't need to be a pro!
It is easier, as with any tan to do one body part at a time so you can blend the tan in. Just spray and blend, sooooo easy! You can apply in layers or all in one go, up to you.
I get so many compliments with this products and my clients love it and the results it gives.
To remove the tan just wash it off with hot soapy water and like the aerotan will not smear on clothes or in awkward weather conditions.

Overall : Great colour, easy to use, amazing finish
5/5 - *****

Happy Tanning!!!

The Kardashians Inspire The Glam World!

The Kardashian sisters have inspired so many girls and women of all ages to be slimmer, curvier, taller, more tanned and overall more glam.
So many people ask me how they can achieve a 'Kardashian' look. How to get their eyebrows, how to get their hair, their flawless skin and many more....
Over the years Khloe, Kim and Kourtney have learned how to perfect their look for home comfort, media and everything else they have to squeeze into a manic schedule.

I have to admit I like to vary my makeup look from time to time, but I also truly believe "if you find something that works...stick with it!"

There are so many make-up artists globally that have worked with them and many more want to. Each one has a very unique look which makes them all admired.
People are put into the media to inspire people and they are no different. Three talented, beautiful women who know how to rock any red carpet, photo shoot and set!

On KUWTK, the girls have these huge make-up boxes filled every girls beauty box dream. Straight away I knew they were my kind of girls.

I personally think they have got better with age. Showing class with their dress sense, but still showing their personalities, glam side and adventure with hair, clothes and make-up.

This as got to be one of my favourite pictures.....Big hair, leopard, heels and flawless glam make-up. thumbs up girls!!!!

The Kardashian sisters have also been lucky enough to jump over to the production side of makeup and have a range of nail polishes for O.P.I. called Nicole. I haven't tried them but they look amazing...

Top row, left to right:

Kendall and Kylie have also glammed up many magazine covers following in their sisters footsteps, fast becoming a huge talent. They have the same luscious hair, great complexion and model-like features. It is obvious that the whole Kardashian family are gifted on the 'looks' department and are simply using make-up for the 'fun factor'........................lucky chicas!!!!

Glam Time on TOWIE Essexmas Set!!!!

December was a highlight for me... after watching The Only Way is Essex and finding it hysterical to watch I had to pinch myself when I found out that I was going to be working with one of my favourite cast members........the fabulous GEMMA COLLINS.

I had the privilege of working on set for the Christmas special and had a fab time!!!!

While I was there I also had fun meeting a few more cast members and it was a fun night.

She is truly a lovely woman and we had such a laugh. I can honestly say that she is genuine and made my job very easy.

Christmas is over!...BUT THE GLAMOUR IS NOT!!!

Ok I have to admit I had too much fun over Christmas experimenting with different looks, textures and products to feel very festive. This is a fab time of year to be as adventurous with make-up. Admittedly I went glitter mad.... and why not. I bet you all had fun too....
I tried different hairstyles, had a lot of fun with different colour eyeshadows and the red lippy popped up a lot, haha!

I had some amazing pics which gave me inspiration for the Christmas period.
So I thought I would share them with you...

As you can see there is a theme of reds, greens, golds and GLITTER. Why not it was Christmas after all.

I hope you had as much fun as I did this year over Christmas and new years. I would love to see some pics of your creativity.

And don't forget : Make-up is not just for Christmas......it's for a glamorous life!!!!

Have a fab 2012 everyone!!!
